Okay now I would have put this fact into my video if it had been released in time but here goes anyway.
Anybody who currently plays a PlayStation 3 WILL NOT be able to play PS3 games on the new console.
The shock announcement comes today after last nights less than dramatic reveal of the new console. When quizzed about the console a PlayStation executive said that backwards compatibility WILL NOT be available for the PlayStation 4.
Will this affect your decision on whether you buy it or not? Will it be the same case for the new XBOX console that is set to be announced in March? Keep it here for more updates.
