Game News: Harry Potter Kinect

It has been revealed that WB Studios are behind the making of a new Harry Potter game to be released for Xbox 360's Kinect hardware. The press release states that players will be able to play through the Harry Potter saga like never before by using their arms as their wands as well as using your voice to shout spell names, you can also fly on a broom stick in a quidditch match but how realistic this seems remains to be seen.Players can also use Kinect's facial recognition to scan their own face into the game. It sounds great but as with all Kinect games I worry that it is going to be an on the rail game (a game which isn't free roaming) and that the graphics will be slightly lacking,with a release date of autumn 2012 it seems we will have to wait a little while to find out.
