Call of Duty : Ghosts Online Multiplayer Details

Okay so a lot of COD players have been waiting for tonight or this morning depending on where you are reading this and to be honest the Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer reveal was interesting and promising, but was that as far as it goes, is the game going to be the ultimate spectral soldier or make you run away shrieking like a banshee, take a look at the details below and decide for yourself :)

Customising soldiers is back just like in the original Black Ops game you know where you could change the look of your guy and now GIRL! yes for the first time in an online FPS game you can create a female character which is great for girl gamers who have been overlooked over the previous years of Call of Duty games. The next thing is this pretty awkward looking squad system, from what I could understand from this very rushed section, you create one guy max out his prestige ONCE then make another guy in your squad and do the same, correct me if I am wrong because it seemed to fly by in a blur but with a max of 10 soldiers allowed in your 'Squad' this equates to 10 levels of prestige.... I know anal right? My concern is that you can't change up the weapons of that one soldier, say you make him a sniper he has to stay a sniper, I'm not saying that is going to happen but it is a concern. Otherwise the create a class or should I say squad looks great with 30 new weapons and a new weapon class called Marksman Rifles which can be scoped semi automatic sniper rifles or single shot assault rifles, so basically if you aren't a sniper you're screwed ;) good luck guys and girls :)

Customisable loadouts with a similar pick ten system that was given to us in Black Ops 2 return in Ghosts only yes you guessed it they've tweaked it and it sounds a bit complicated but here goes this time you have a budget and this time there are a heck load of perks and perks have a points value of one to five and you have a perk budget of 8 points ( yeah I know i'd hung my pet rabbit at this point ) and then you have 3 points left for your weapons, at least that's what the presenter said unless he actually meant 2 points cause after all 3 points would make 11 -__-

This time around they have added 20 new killstreaks but this hasn't been without it's losses as they have taken away a fair amount of airborne kill streaks and replaced them with more ground based ones, a good example of this is the UAV which is now a ground roaming drone which can obviously now be destroyed easier by enemies oh and no more death streaks YAY! :)

They also went through a few new games modes namely Search and Rescue which is basically like Search and Destroy only now you can be revived by team mates before you die, if you do die however you are still out for that round, Cranked which is a faster paced TDM variant where you have to link kills quickly or you explode, every kill you get gives you a 25 second clock, if you don't get a kill in those 25 seconds then KABOOOOM! to make it easier every kill you get rewards you with a perk or attachment to make you move or aim faster, the final game mode they went over was Squads which uses the soldiers you create in Multiplayer and puts them up against AI controlled player created squads from around the world and other variants which can be played in a co-op fashion a bit like Spec Ops Survival in MW3

They have also added dynamic maps and player movement to the multiplayer experience with player triggered map events which can change the face of the map meaning that you need to change your gameplay tactics to survive and with a new contextual leaning and mantling system that enables you to lean around objects and climb over them without pressing any buttons whilst enabling you to fill your enemies with bullets this game is set to be the best Call of Duty so far.... Apparently.

So overall it looks pretty decent but there are plenty of things that could possibly let it down, those being people constantly making logs and buildings fall on you like some shitty version of Mario, snipers running around thinking they own the place and this whole bloody squad thing, one thing is for sure though everything will pan out when Call of Duty: Ghosts hits shelves this fall :)
